I'm UK based, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, for context. What got me on it was actually a bit daft — I couldn't ever work out what an each way payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and get a shock. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet. The single bet calculator tool is the one I'm on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it lives at betfred lucky 63 calculator and it's free with no account nonsense. What actually shifted things for me was the geekier tools. They've got an probability calculator which shows you what margin's baked in, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I'm splitting a race. Not all sunshine though. The interface looks very functional, let's say — zero polish, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On my phone it's usable though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it's a website and that's it — slight shame but you asked. Right, that's me. Free, barely any ads, works. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — it's saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
